Born into a family of musicians, Marie Elise Weigel first studied piano before devoting herself to classical singing at the age of fifteen. Alongside her university studies in literature, philosophy, and psychology, she joined the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Marseille in Isabelle Vernet’s class.

 

There, she earned her Diplômes d’Études Musicales in Voice, Opera, and Chamber Music in 2019 (with highest honors), followed by an Advanced Diploma in 2022, awarded unanimously with the jury’s highest praise. Her musical training is further enriched by her practice of the organ.
