Born in France, Marie Elise Weigel grew up within a family of professional musicians. She first studied piano before taking an interest in lyric art at the age of 15.

After advanced studies of Philosophy, she fully dedicated herself to lyrical art, trained by Isabelle Vernet in the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Marseille classes.
 
In 2018, she receives her Prize in Lyric Arts and in Chamber Music, soon followed by her Diploma of Musical Studies with distinction in 2019, and an Improvement program Diploma (Performance Diploma) in 2022 - obtained with unanimous honors and jury congratulations.
